Since earning his degree with honors from the Berklee College of Music, Benjamin Saporito has cultivated a diverse and dynamic career as a performing percussionist within the New York City metropolitan area. In addition to his performance work, Mr. Saporito is the founder and director of a thriving private drum studio, where he provides instruction to students of various ages and skill levels, fostering their musical growth and development.

Mr. Saporito has had the privilege of performing and recording with a wide range of distinguished ensembles and artists, including The New York Pops, The American Composers Orchestra, The Newburgh Symphony, The New York Jazz-Harmonic Trio, and such notable performers as Vanessa Racci, Danny Bacher, Chris Pinnella, David Shenton, Vin Mott’s Rhythm and Blues Band, and Vintage Ego, among others.

In addition to his extensive performance experience, Mr. Saporito has contributed his talents to regional theater productions of Spelling Bee, The Addams Family, Songs for a New World, Footloose, Annie, Hairspray, Mamma Mia!, 13, A Chorus Line, Ragtime, Pippin, and Rent. More recently, he has enjoyed subbing with the orchestra for Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway.
